To access the Housing Portal, students need to have paid the $200 Admissions deposit, and it must be processed. If you can log in but see a blank or white page, it’s likely that your Admissions deposit is still being processed. If you are having issues submitting your Admissions deposit, or believe your Admissions deposit has yet to be processed, please contact the Admissions Office at 828-262-2120. There is no additional charge to access the Housing Portal.

Other Login Issues:

  • Setting Up Your AppState Email: Students may need to reset their password to gain access to their App State email. Once your password is reset, you can log into your email through Google Suite. Your Login to your AppState email is your App State credentials.
  • Separate Portals: The Housing Portal is linked from MyMountaineer, but please keep in mind that they are two separate systems. Be sure to use your App State credentials to log into the Housing Portal.
  • Single Sign-On Issues: If you’re having trouble logging in with your App State credentials, the Help Desk at 828-262-6266 is happy to assist you.

ZeeMee is a chat based app that allows you to start talking with students that have shared interests with you! Once you sign-up and join App State's community, you will have access to multiple chat channels where you can talk with other students, ask our counselors questions, and even try out the roommate finder. There are also specific chat channels for all of our admitted students so you can start meeting future classmates.
